The Swedish National Air Medevac (SNAM) had their annual exercise for their crew in Akureyri, Iceland, in September 2009.
The choice of exercise location arose through cooperation within CoSafe.
An international seminar was held in Akureyri, Iceland on March 17, 2010. Another Eu project was invited a Botnia Atlantica project called the Cross-border Mountain rescue, stage 2 .
The fifth workshop was held at the Emergency Service Collage in Kuopio, Finland. The focus of the meeting was CoSafe products and services. During the meeting we got in contact with an other EU-project called COPE. The CoSafe project was invited to participate at their final exercise at the ESC.
The sixth (and final) workshop was held at hotel Källan in Norsjö, Sweden.
The meeting focused on dissemination, an analysis of project performance and the final report. We also made some preparations for the seminar in Lycksele.
An international seminar was held in Lycksele, Sweden on February 17, 2011.
There were 90 participants from 6 countries at the seminar. They all came from organizations dealing with the preparedness and management of major accidents and disasters. An exhibition presented the results of the CoSafe project and external companies and the cross-border mountain rescue project presented there products and services.
